Thank you for your interest in working with the Community Counseling Center in the County of San Luis Obispo, California. Our educational program is open to clinicians training in programs for Marriage and Family Therapy, Professional Clinical Counseling, Clinical Social Work, and Psychology.
The Community Counseling Center is a California Professional Internship Council (CAPIC) accredited organization. We provide a wide array of mental health services for diverse members of our community in a variety of settings including area school districts and our local homeless shelter.
We provide clinical supervision, training and educational opportunities, and the administrative and billing support needed to effectively serve our clients and support our providers. Telehealth work options are available.
We have opportunities for both volunteer and paid positions with an hourly pay range between $15 to $20 depending on experience and program assignment (bilingual stipend available). Bilingual and bicultural clinicians are especially encouraged to apply.Clinicians who have completed their traineeship often continue working with us as Associates in a variety of programs, including the opportunity to apply for CenCal insurance credentialing and Perinatal Mental Health Certification.
